FireGuard's 13th Annual Customer Appreciation Day We were very pleased to host our 13th Annual Customer Appreciation Day on Wednesday Oct. 7th and have such a great turn out! We had over 250 people show up for a day of great food and networking with all types of safety professionals. A huge thank you goes out to all of our customers. We hope to see you again next year!

This is a notice that not only affects MSA SCBA users, but any SCBA compliant to the NFPA 1981-2002 or NFPA 1981-2007 edition standards. This is a notice that not only affects MSA SCBA users, but any SCBA compliant to the NFPA 1981-2002 or NFPA 1981-2007 edition standards. KICKOFF TO "YOU DRINK, YOU DRIVE, YOU LOSE" On Thursday, December 4, 2008 several law enforcement agencies in the omaha metro combined efforts in a demonstration and kickoff program at FIREGUARD for “You Drink, You Drive, You Lose” impaired driving crackdown for the holidays. Officers from the Nebraska State Patrol, Sarpy and Douglas County Sheriff Departments were in attendance. M.A.D.D. (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers) were also available with information on the “Tie One on for Safety” campaign. The Nebraska State Patrol had the roll over demonstration vehicle on location. The vehicle in which 4 Nebraskans travelling on vacation in New Mexico and were struck and killed by a repeat drunk driver was on display and family members present. This year Nebraska Legislators passed LB 736, the ignition interlock bill requiring all convicted drunk drivers to have a breath test instrument (ignition interlock) placed on their vehicles. This law goes into effect on January 1. There were two units installed on vehicles for demonstration with special emphasis being placed upon the participants in the wet lab after they have been drinking on attempting to start these cars.

Nebraska State Patrol
This team of professions will use the F.I.R.S.T. (Fatal Incident Response and Support Team) vehicle to investigate major crashes in appropriate timely method. Technology for investigations of reconstructing major accidents and incidents is costly but necessary- teaming up with the different departments and the donation from Robert Sorensen’s ambulance makes Nebraska’s F.I.R.S.T. ONE OF THREE in the Nation. Precision and accurate reconstruction immediately allows for exact information for the investigations.
