The Cairns 664 modern style helmet is the a multi-purpose helmet for use in structural firefighting, EMS/rescue and wildland firefighting and comes without the high gloss paint job. As with all of the Cairns modern helmets the 664 offers the following features: market-leading 5-year shell replacement warranty through the manufacturer, rugged/high-temperature edge trim that will not melt or drip, easy front headband adjustment for proper SCBA mask fit, simple rear ratchet adjustment to fit most head sizes, exclusive shell release system for an extra margin of safety (except 360S and HP3), and a unique tube-lock system to absorb the shock of an impact (except 360S). The 664 standard configuration includes: a standard flannel cushion liner, nomex earlap, and a 4" standard faceshield. This model does not have the high gloss paint job. (Picture is of a 660C)
